Boho & Mala Jewellery (Fabbris Holdings Pty Ltd, ACN 661 213 841) respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you order, we collect your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, and details of what you bought. When you join our mailing list we collect your name, email and, if you choose, mobile number and birthday. When you leave a review we collect your name and the content of your review. Our website also collects standard usage information such as your device, browser, pages viewed and the site you came from, using cookies and similar technologies.
If you shop with us in store, our point-of-sale provider (Square) processes your payment, and we may record your name, email or phone number if you ask for an emailed receipt or to join our mailing list.
How we use it
To process and deliver your order, provide customer service and warranty support, send order updates and, if you've opted in, send marketing emails or SMS about new collections, offers and events. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by replying STOP to an SMS. We also use aggregated usage data to improve the site.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the store: Shopify (hosting, checkout and payments), Square (in-store payments), Australia Post and other carriers (delivery), Omnisend (email and SMS), Judge.me (reviews), Smile.io (rewards), and analytics and advertising platforms such as Google and Meta. We don't sell your personal information. Payment details are processed securely by Shopify Payments, PayPal or your chosen payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, Canada and Europe. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to Australian law.
Find Your Colour Match
If you use our colour match tool, your photo is analysed automatically by our technology partners (Cloudflare and Anthropic) to suggest colours, metals and gemstones, then discarded. We don't store your photo. If you choose to enter your email to receive your results, we add it to our mailing list under the terms above.
Wholesale enquiries
If you contact us about wholesale, we keep your business name and contact details to manage your account and send you wholesale updates.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used, including advertising cookies from Google and Meta. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some site features may not work without them.
Security and retention
Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled systems and kept only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records for 7 years).
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@bohoandmala.com. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
